Thank you, Sarah and Paul. I am grateful for your witness to the living magisterium. One quibble: please be careful about minimizing the theology of it all. The catechesis has to have a coherent foundation. In the past we did over-intellectualize, but in the present that may not be our problem. Does the living magisterium give us a coherent narrative to light the path? Or is there a choice of several narratives leading in different directions? Who are we and how do we know things; what are we doing here? What is the God of our faith? Doesn't the moral/social teaching follow from the answers to these questions? Onward.
