Thank you very much Paul, great to talk to you as ever!
Towards the end of the podcast I make some references to the cases of Marie-Dominique Philippe, Thomas Philippe and Jean Vanier, as well as to Marie-Dominique Philippe's false theology of 'love of friendship' (l’amour d’amitié) by which his sexual abuse was spiritually rationalised*. Here are the reports I was referencing (all in English) so that people don't need to rely on what I say here but can go to the sources instead:
(*I specifically say 'false theology' because this phrase 'love of friendship/l’amour d’amitié' will be (confusingly) familiar to fans of St Thomas Aquinas as vernacular translations of the phrase 'amor amiticiae' - MDP misappropriates this Thomistic idea for immoral purposes.)

- Firstly, here is the summary of the Community of St John's report 'Comprendre et Guérir' ('To Understand and to Heal'): https://brothers-saint-john.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2024/07/SUMMARY-OF-THE-REPORT-UNDERSTANDING-AND-HEALING.pdf
- Here is the report into the relationship between Jean Vanier and Thomas Philippe: https://www.larche.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Report_Control-and-Abuse_EN.pdf
- Here is the summary of that report: https://www.larche.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Summary-Study-Commission-Report-EN_March2023.pdf
- And finally there are a couple of references to MDP's false theology of l’amour d’amitié in the CIASE report, specifically on p.120 and p.236-238: https://www.ciase.fr/medias/Ciase-Final-Report-5-october-2021-english-version.pdf
